I’m a Northern Irish artist presently based in beautiful Buckinghamshire, England. My adventurous soul is fuelled by extensive travels and living on three different continents with my four fun sporty children and soulmate Paul. My global nomadism, unique life experiences and rich landscapes drives creativity with work ever evolving to reflect my love of pushing boundaries. Inspiration comes from everyday life and all its vibrant variety with strong connections to ancient cultures and faded memories. Art is my mediation feeding my soul, guiding me to my heart’s bliss and authentic voice.
Our shared humanity is reflected in the universal language of art touching the hearts of everyone. I have a burning belief that art reaches across divides and can bring unreconciled societies together, in today’s turbulent world this is needed more than ever. My Story
Born & Raised in Northern Ireland during ‘The Troubles” my art inspiration was gable walls on both sides of the devided communities. A people’s voice reflected our shared tragedy and the social policial injustice of the times.
Following my heart and lifelong desire, I began a career as an independent artist in 2004 and after formal training in Art & Design my passion of introducing others to their creative bliss was born. I strongly believe we are all born creative and love guiding people back to their creative bliss helping them towards becoming confident independent artists. For almost 2 decades I have inspired and motivated budding artists aged 5 to 80 years old and connected them to their inner creative bliss.
Ciara’s adventurous soul has been fuelled by a 20 year career in critical care nursing/teaching on three different continents. On moving to England in 2019 she returned to nursing and pursued academic excellence becoming a Higher Education Fellow and NMC Teacher. A lifelong dream was achieved with presenting at national and international conferences and symposiums alongside an academic publication all focused on workforce wellbeing and vital work-life balance.
